The Task

Students will understand why it is important to cite their sources
Using specific criteria, students will select and recommend the best source(s) for understanding the Fall of Rome
Students will use Noodletools to create a properly formatted citation for their recommended source
Students will annotate their citation(s) with at least two reasons they selected the source
Students will successfully share their sources with their teacher's inbox within Noodletools

It is important to give credit to your sources for many reasons:

To show your reader that you've done proper research by sharing the quality resources you used
To be a responsible researcher by giving credit to other experts and their ideas.
To avoid plagiarism by properly quoting the words and ideas of others.
To give your reader the information they need to track down your sources if they would like to read further.
